Overview:
This project started with an Instagram post of a sneaker sketch. A friend of mine is a 5th Grade teacher in the Oakland School District and one of her students, Angel, seemed to take an interest. He sketched a few soccer cleats and sent them to me. He wanted the original Instagram sketch, so I asked him to sketch me 10 more sketches and after he did, I created a book. The goal was to inspire the next generation of creators.
